Sabemos que después de perder peso estará pensando volver al mundo de las comidas habituales, pero al mismo tiempo, puede que esté preocupado sobre lo que va a comer con el fin de mantener su nueva figura, para la que tanto ha trabajado. The Exante Diet Stabiliser programme is designed to help you move from the VLCD and LCD Solutions onto a healthy balanced diet, decreasing your reliance on meal replacement products and increasing the amount of food you eat. Exante Diet makes it easy for you by providing healthy tasty recipes and ideas so that you remain on track.

How Does the Stabiliser Programme Work?

There are two Stabiliser steps, the first allowing you a total of 1400 kcal (calories) includes 2 Exante Diet meal replacement products a day. The second, a total of 1600 kcal (calories) includes 1 Exante Diet product a day.

Once you have lost weight following a very low calorie diet (VLCD) , it is important to reintroduce foods slowly so that you don't put back on the weight you've worked so hard to lose. The Exante Diet Stabiliser helps you to do this by encouraging you to adopt healthy eating habits, whilst providing nutritional support from the Exante Diet products. The Stabiliser steps help you gain confidence in eating different foods whilst not gaining weight. In effect they help stabilise your weight.

Who can use the Stabiliser Programme?

The Stabiliser programme is ideal for someone who is now comfortable with their weight and is ready to start eating conventional foods again. You follow Stabiliser once you have finished Simple Solution (Low Calorie Diet LCD).

Sometimes customers worry about the transition from meal replacements back to conventional food. In 2010 the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition and Allergies gave their scientific opinion on this subject. They found that people had significantly better weight maintenance after weight loss when meal replacements are used in the maintenance phase. *

What do I do on the Stabiliser Programme?

Stabiliser Step 1

2 Exante Diet products (400 kcals) 1000 kcals of healthy, nutritious foods per day

Step 1 allows you to have 1000 kcal (calories) from healthy foods and drinks in addition to the 400 kcals you will have from 2 Exante products. Plan what and how you are going to eat so that it fits in with your lifestyle, remembering not to skip meals, but eat regularly. For example some people prefer to have an Exante Diet shake for breakfast as they are accustomed to doing this, whilst others prefer an Exante Diet soup at lunch. Whatever you choose we strongly advise you to plan your meals as this is critical to maintain your weight in the longer term. An example is shown below.

You still need to drink plenty of water, at least 2 litres a day, but you can add milk to tea, or coffee, remembering to add these to your daily calorie totals. Don't forget the importance of being active as doing regular activity is known to help maintain weight. We recommend that you follow step 1 for at least a week so that you become used to planning healthy meals and snacks. In this time you should not gain weight, and you may even still lose a little.

Stabiliser Step 2

1 Exante product (200 kcals) 1400 kcals of healthy, nutritious foods per day

When you are ready, move on to the second step of the Stabiliser programme, step 2 allows you to have 1400 kcal (calories) from food in addition to the 200 kcals you will have from one Exante product. It is still very important to plan what and when you are going to eat, so that you remain focused on maintaining your new weight by reinforcing new healthy eating habits. An example of how you may want to plan your eating is below.

Don?t forget the importance of being active as doing regular activity is known to help maintain weight.

We recommend that you use Step 2 of the Stabiliser programme for at least one week so you become accustomed again to planning and eating healthy meals and snacks. Then you should increase the amount of additional healthy foods you eat so that you neither gain nor lose weight. By noting how many calories you are eating at this point, you will know approximately what your energy needs are. This is what you need to stay at your new target weight.

¿Cómo funciona el Programa Estabilizador?

Hay cuatro etapas a seguir en el programa estabilizador, semana tras semana irá aumentado su comida habitual y calorías de una manera progresiva y controlada. Si su punto de partida es la Solución Total entonces tiene que hacer las 4 etapas. Sin embargo si punto de partida es la Solución Práctica, entonces puede saltarse la primera etapa y empezar desde la segunda. Asimismo para aquellos que ya están combinando bastante comida habitual con los productos de la Dieta Exante al estar haciendo la Solución Práctica 600, pueden saltarse las primeras dos etapas y empezar desde la tercera.

Debe realizar cada etapa durante al menos una semana, es posible que desee repetir una etapa dependiendo de cómo responde su cuerpo a la comida habitual durante esa semana y lo estable que es su peso. Puede que tenga una respuesta emocional a un determinado alimento o a un grupo de alimentos. El programa estabilizador es cuestión de percatarse de la cantidad adecuada de calorías y carbohidratos para usted para mantener su peso y poder sentirse cómodo.
